I had contacted Scott Hultstrom from the Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund and was able to set up webinars for Missouri and Illinois elevator codes. At this time, these webinars do NOT fulfill the Illinois requirement for continuing education. I am looking to see if eventually these webinars will be sufficient. Please text me at 314-250-5997 with your name and email address if you would like to participate. 
Here is a basic overview of the IUEC Local 3 Code Outreach. This event is scheduled to occur the third Tuesday of every month effective April 20th 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm Central Time. The event is online using WebEx.
A couple of tips and thoughts from the event coordinator:
During the event we will provide information by speaking and sharing a screen. If you join using the WebEx app or your browser on a smart phone, tablet, laptop etc. you should be able to see the screen and hear the speaker’s voice.
Having your camera on and showing you during the outreach is not needed. At times it might actually slow down your connection by 1-2 Mbps. The goal is to have you see the screen, hear the presentation and if desired speak using the microphone or enter questions and/or comments into the chat feature. If you want your camera on, it will be good to see you.
Please remember to be safe and get to a quiet environment that is hazard free.
I would not join by simply calling in as there is a visual element to this event. 
I wouldn’t be afraid to download the WebEx app to join the meeting. No issues have been reported to contraindicate this.
IUEC Local 3 Code Night is a 2-hour event to be held once a month on the third Tuesday of every month effective April 20th 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm Central Time.
IUEC Local 3 Code Night is an outreach offered to increase code & legal knowledge affecting the elevator constructor’s job. This should help moving toward achieving improved day to day operations, working with your employer and the jurisdiction’s inspectors, and any future efforts in the licensing area all founded on establishing and maintaining your knowledge base in this area.
This effort is not designed to or makes any attempt to compete with any other area of learning.
